Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how TN International Limited uses cookies and similar technologies (such as your browser's local storage and tracking pixels) on unhooked-app.com. For how we handle personal information in general, see our Privacy Policy (/privacy).

1. Strictly necessary

These are needed for the Service to work, so they cannot be switched off in our settings.

  • Sign-in session (Supabase, cookies starting "sb-"): keeps you signed in. Lasts until you sign out or the session expires.
  • Quiz draft (browser local storage): saves your quiz answers before you create an account, so you do not lose your place. Removed when you sign in or clear your browser data.
  • App lock and preferences (browser storage): remembers settings such as the app-lock grace period on this device.
  • Payment security (Stripe): when you open checkout, Stripe sets cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud.
  • Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile): on the sign-in form, to tell people apart from automated abuse.

2. Analytics

Product analytics (PostHog, cookies and local storage starting "ph_"): counts visits and records which pages and quiz screens are reached, so we can see where people get stuck and which version of a page works better. We do not send quiz answers, journal entries or progress to PostHog. Kept for up to 1 year.

3. Advertising measurement

Meta Pixel (cookies "_fbp" and "_fbc"): tells us whether a visit from a Facebook or Instagram ad led to starting the quiz, signing up or buying, so we can measure and improve our ads. Meta may combine this with information it already holds about you, under its own data policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy. We do not send quiz answers or health information to Meta. Kept for up to 90 days.

4. Your choices

  • Where the law requires your consent (for example in the EU and UK), we ask before setting analytics or advertising cookies, and you can change your choice at any time.
  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop sign-in and checkout from working.
  • You can limit ads based on your activity in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings (Accounts Centre → Ad preferences).
  • Many browsers can send a "Global Privacy Control" signal or block third-party trackers; you can also install browser extensions that do so.
